Andrew McCloskey, Senior Housing Development Officer at City of Edinburgh Council, shares information about the ongoing review of the housing allocations policy and how you can get involved.



Allocations Policy Review

The City of Edinburgh Council has committed to review its current housing allocations policy (called the Letting Policy) as one of the actions within the Housing Emergency Action Plan (HEAP).


The survey is available online until 8 July 2026. We would love to hear from anyone who wants to share their views

 

We are holding engagement events to discuss the allocations review survey questions in more detail and would like to invite you to register your interest.


In Person Session

Some places remain in an in person session being held tomorrow, 26th June, get in touch as soon as possible if you would like to attend.

Online Sessions

Thurs 16th July, 09:00 – 11:00 – MS Teams

 

Weds 22nd July, 14:00 – 16:00 – MS Teams

If you can make either event, please identify your first and second preference. Due to limited venue capacity, numbers may need to be restricted but we will be in touch if we need to discuss this with you.
