Homeless Network Scotland share the details of this year's national homelessness conference, taking place on October 6th and 7th in Perth.

Raising the Level: From Hard Edges to Whole Lives

Date: October 6th and 7th

Location: Perth Conference Hall

Registration: Various ticket options available at Raising the Level

This year’s national homelessness conference is evolving into something bigger and more ambitious. Raising the Level: From Hard Edges to Whole Lives will be a landmark two-day summit focused on preventing severe and multiple disadvantage.

Why does this matter? Multiple challenges such as poverty, trauma, addiction, mental health, homelessness and offending cannot be tackled effectively by services planned, funded and delivered in isolation from each other.

This model is costly, inefficient, bad for people and can contribute to trauma and stigma. But failure to address this issue will guarantee more harm.

On October 6 and 7, we are bringing together voices from health, justice, housing, social care, recovery and beyond to focus on building integrated services that respond to complexity – advancing equality, preventing intergenerational trauma, strengthening community safety and delivering better outcomes and value for public money.

Take a first look at the early-bird programme featuring inspiring speakers, provocative discussion, candid reflection and deep-dive workshops – the full speaker line-up will be announced over the coming weeks.

Make your mark at this year’s landmark gathering

With a wider focus this year, the conference will bring together decision makers and senior leaders and practitioners across the spectrum of housing, health and social care sectors, plus local and national government.
