Teresa Sutherland shares an interim report on the AI trial they have been piloting in their agency. The agency is keen to provide a true reflection of how well it is working and share the experiences with other agencies, and they have shared their interim report with partner organisations and Edinburgh Advice Network.

The report outlines the introduction and initial findings since they launched the Wyser AI-assisted case note pilot (accessed through the AdvicePro case management system) in January 2026.
They have noted mixed feedback from advisers but also explained how regular updates to Wyser have resulted in model and algorithm adjustments which have improved performance over time.
'At present, significant improvement is still needed to increase reliability, adviser confidence, and genuine time-saving benefits. The long-term future of the system remains under review, but the pilot is already providing valuable evidence to inform CHAI’s future approach to AI-supported service delivery.'
