Euan Hamilton, Equality and Rights Network (EaRN) coordinator, shares information on City of Edinburgh Council's equality outcomes and survey to gather the views of people living in the city and accessing Council services.

'Every four years, the City of Edinburgh Council publishes equality outcomes that set out the work they will do to tackle inequalities in the city and make improvements to their services.

Equality outcomes are part of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Framework that outlines all the Council’s efforts to address inequality in the city. The Council want to base their next framework and equality outcomes for 2026-2030 on research and what people say.

As part of this engagement process there is an online survey on the Council’s consultation hub for people in Edinburgh to share their views living in the city and accessing Council services. There are various topics covered, but not all of them need to be completed. There is also an Easy Read version of the survey available on the consultation hub.

You can complete the survey by clicking HERE. This is a great opportunity to influence what the priorities will be for the next four years and the more responses the better!

The survey is open until 1 June 2025.

Many thanks in advance for your help. '
