Challenge Poverty Week 2025

This year's Challenge Poverty Week takes place from Monday 6th October to Sunday 12th October. Find out more about events taking place across Scotland, how you can take part and share your plans with others.

Challenge Poverty Week is Scotland’s annual chance to highlight the injustice of poverty, and to celebrate collective action based on justice and compassion. It provides an opportunity for people to raise their voice against poverty and unite with others in calling for a just and equal Scotland.

Each year, hundreds of organisations do just that, including elected representative, charities and NGOs, local authorities, faith groups, businesses, school and colleges, trade unions, professional bodies and more..
