Dr Rebecca Kay, Associate Director of Migration Policy Scotland, seeks the views of Edinburgh Advice Network members on new training to support advice services.

Intercultural Communication Training

We are developing a new training offer on intercultural communication delivered through partnership with migrant-focused organisations, to support the work of mainstream advice and support services. We aim to create interactive, reflective workshops that support services to be more accessible, inclusive and effective in working with migrant service users.

To ensure relevance and impact, we are consulting services across Scotland on training needs, priorities, and preferred delivery formats.

This survey Intercultural Communication Training should take no more than 5 minutes to complete, and we would greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Even if this is not a training you would consider, please do fill out the survey to let us know this.

We are keen to ensure that any training offer answers a need, and that it can be adapted for organisations of different sizes and areas of work. As such, we are hoping for responses from a wide range of organisations.
