The National Association of Welfare Rights Advisers (NAWRA), share the launch of their campaign for social welfare advice to become a statutory duty, and invites Edinburgh Advice Network members organisations to join the campaign.

Join NAWRA’s call for advice to be a statutory duty

NAWRA is calling upon UK governments to introduce a statutory duty to provide social welfare advice, available equally to all who need it and free at the point of delivery.

We officially launched our campaign on 13 January at a reception at the House of Commons hosted by Marsha de Cordova MP, which was also a celebration of NAWRA's 50th anniversary.

Support the campaign by adding your organisation's name to our list of supporters.

NAWRA is the membership body for advice organisations and others in the social welfare field across the UK.

We aim to challenge, influence and improve welfare rights policy and legislation by building a national network of advisers who share ideas and good practice.

You can find out more about membership, and apply to join at Join NAWRA
