New National DWP Escalation Routes

Liam Higgins, External Relations Lead Edinburgh at DWP has provided an update for Edinburgh Advice Network members on the latest DWP Escalation Routes for Scotland.

As always, these details should only be used where other methods of resolving the case have failed and they should not be given out to the public.

The full Escalation Routeway Document Version 2.0 Nov 2025 can be found on the resources section of our website and Liam advises that the guidance in this document should be followed going forward.
