Scottish LGBT+ Gambling Support Group and Drop In

Further to last weeks post on Gambling Harms Training and their support service, Cyrenians wish to highlight their online LGBT+ Gambling Support Group and Drop-In.
A group for LGBTQ+ people (16+) who are impacted by gambling or in recovery
Homelessness prevention charity, Cyrenians, has teamed up with LGBT Health and Wellbeing to launch a gambling support group. The group, based in Edinburgh, is the first of its kind to exist in Scotland.
The group will meet every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month (6.30-7.30pm) online.
We hope that the group will provide a vital safe space for LGBTQ+ people to seek support for problem gambling.
Our group provides:
Peer-led support and activities
Harm reduction and abstinence based support
A chance to meet people and make connections– Support for those in recovery from gambling harm
