Lydia Martin, Partnerships and Engagement Manager from the law firm Seraphus, shares information about their free advice services and a new network for frontline advisers across Scotland.

'Seraphus was established to make good quality legal advice accessible to everyone. Our work at a local level in partnership with charities, civil society organisations and local authorities means we can provide free at the point of access legal advice to some of the most vulnerable.

In Scotland our main free services include advice to EU citizens who come under the EU Settlement Scheme and free advice to employers via the Scotland Migration Service. We also offer 2nd tier advice and support for organisations.

Attached below is a leaflet outlining our free services for individuals, communities, and professionals focused on EU citizens (and their non EU families) living in the UK. Charities, organisations and individual caseworkers are very welcome to approach us.

We also offer free advice to employers (all sectors) in Scotland via the Scotland Migration Service (SMS), see Book an Appointment with Seraphus.

We have additionally recently established a Scotland wide network for frontline advisers (including immigration) who support EU communities across Scotland. The next meeting is planned for mid May and the content will focus on briefings and updates on the EU Settlement Scheme.

If you would like to learn more, join the network or for information on any of our services please see our website, or contact Lydia Martin.'
