Jo Blyth from CPAG reminds Edinburgh Advice Network members that there is only one week to go until the CPAG Conference, but a few places do remain if you would like to attend.

Scotland Welfare Rights Conference 2025

CPAG in Scotland are pleased to announce that The Rt Hon Sir Stephen Timms MP, Minister for Social Security and Disability at the Department for Work and Pensions will be speaking at their Welfare Rights Conference in the afternoon of Thursday 19 June in Glasgow. With one week to go, whilst there’s some availability, there’s just enough time to book your place (if you have not done so already.)
He’ll be joined by Tressa Burke, Chief Executive Officer of Glasgow Disability Alliance and Sophie Howes, Head of Policy at CPAG as they discuss UK benefit reforms & the implications for families in Scotland.

They’re also looking forward to welcoming Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP and Miriam Craven, Chief Operating Officer at Social Security Scotland as our keynote speakers in the morning.
