Join the fight to secure A Home for Every Child
Date: Wednesday 26th August
Location: St Paul's + St George's Church, Edinburgh
Registration: Free at Eventbrite
Children and families experiencing homelessness and life in temporary accommodation deserve better. Join Shelter Scotland and Fife Gingerbread at a participatory, action-focused event in Edinburgh on 26 August to help make that vision a reality.
The event is part of the Building Hope: A Home for Every Child project – a partnership working to reduce numbers of children in temporary accommodation and ensure that where a stay in TA is unavoidable, it meets the rights of children to safe, happy, and healthy childhoods. The project will work to influence national policy and improve local authority practice to close that implementation gap.
If you would like to discuss the project further, please reach out to amrit_rattray@shelter.org.uk or David_aitchison@shelter.org.uk.
