Home Energy Scotland - Support for carers webinar: Warm homes, lower bills
I'm getting in touch to let you know about our upcoming Support for Carers webinar: Warm Homes, Lower Bills. Over recent years, we've worked closely with a number of organisations that support carers, and through these partnerships we've recognised the importance of providing carers with energy-saving advice and raising awareness of the support available to them.
We'd be grateful if you could share details of the webinar across your networks to help us reach as many carers as possible. Full details are included below, and I've attached a poster and social media graphic that you can use to promote the event.
Support for carers webinar: Warm homes, lower bills
Caring for a loved one can bring additional energy costs, from running medical equipment to keeping the home at the right temperature. Combined with the ongoing cost-of-living pressures and reduced opportunities to earn an income, many carers are feeling the strain. Join this webinar to learn how Home Energy Scotland can help carers access advice, support, and funding opportunities to create a warmer home and lower energy bills.
Get expert, tailored advice in our ‘Support for Carers: Warm homes, lower bills' webinar on Wednesday 2 September. Partnership Officer, Gemma Sandie, will be sharing key information to help householders reduce their bills and stay comfortable at home.
In this webinar, you’ll get:
• practical energy saving advice
• an overview of the current support for energy bills; and
• information on Scottish Government's current funding support.
There will be time for questions at the end, and you can submit any you have before the webinar when registering. The session will be recorded so you can catch up afterwards.
Date: Wednesday 2 September
Time: 12pm – 12:45pm or 6pm – 6:45pm (This webinar will run twice so you can chose the best time for you.)
